Treatment Process
Filling phase
The wastewater flows into the ClearFox® QuickOne. The automatic fill level measurement recognises when wastewater flows into the domestic sewage treatment plant. The cycles are then adjusted accordingly.
Cleaning and aeration stage
The system injects air into the wastewater via perforated discs at the bottom of the tank. During the aeration process, the microorganisms consume the carbon and nitrogen in the wastewater. The duration of aeration is adapted to each individual type of wastewater. The more contaminated the wastewater, the longer the aeration phase. This also ensures uniform mixing of the wastewater. The process is fully biological and does not require the addition of chemicals.
Settling phase
During the aeration phase, a sludge is produced which is mixed with the active bacteria – the so-called activated sludge. In the settling phase, the activated sludge settles to the bottom of the tank. As a result, all the treated wastewater remains in the upper part of the reactor. A clear water zone is formed.
Flushing
There are no mechanical parts in the wastewater. The entire wastewater movement is carried out by non-clogging airlift pumps. Before the system discharges the clean water from the system, it flushes the airlift pipes with compressed air to clean them and remove any suspended solids that have settled in them. This ensures a very low level of suspended solids in the treated wastewater.
Clear water extraction
In this phase, the system drains the treated water from the system. The system completely discharges the clean water from the upper water column. The operator can use this for irrigation or discharge it underground into the environment.
Manufacturing Process and Guarantee
The ClearFox® QuickOne is entirely manufactured under strict quality controls at our headquarters in Beyreuth, Germany. The single piece rotationally moulded tank is reinforced with stainless steel. Alternatives to the QuickOne+
SBR Process Technology installation in an alternative tank
The SBR system installed in the ClearFox® QuickOne+ can also be installed in other tanks. This allows you to convert existing tanks into a domestic sewage treatment plant. There is plenty of room for manoeuvre when it comes to the material and shape of the tank. It only requires a minimum size in relation to the number of people connected. Contact us if you would like to convert an existing tank into a small wastewater treatment plant.
Upgrading existing septic tanks
The ClearFox® QuickOne+ SBR equipment can also be used in existing septic tanks. The aeration system supplies the microorganisms with additional oxygen and thus improves the cleaning activity.
ClearFox® Nature
The ClearFox® Nature is a non-electric small sewage treatment plant from PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH. It is a two-chamber wastewater treatment plant with permanently installed growth carriers. It is available from 4 to 48 PE.
