The technology we supply
Every ClearFox oil and gas system is assembled from proven, in-house process modules — so you get the exact treatment chain your stream needs, and nothing you don’t:
- Oil Skimmers with Grit / Sand Separation — remove free oil, grit and sand at the front end, ahead of flotation and treatment.
- Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) — the workhorse for oil and suspended-solids removal, bringing dispersed hydrocarbons down to tight discharge limits in a compact footprint.
- Fixed Bed Biofilm Reactor (FBBR) — a natural, chemical-free biological process with very low operating costs for the biodegradable organic load.
- Lamella Clarifier — compact, high-efficiency separation of settleable solids.

FAQs
How salty can the produced water you treat be?
Produced water is often hypersaline, with total dissolved solids reaching up to 300,000 mg/l. Where discharge or reuse requires it, reverse osmosis and related tertiary steps reduce salinity to the target standard.
How is oil removed from produced water?
Screening and separation remove free oil, then Dissolved Air Flotation removes dispersed oil and suspended solids down to tight discharge limits, protecting any downstream biological or membrane stage.
Can systems be deployed to remote or offshore-adjacent sites?
Yes. Our systems are containerized, pre-assembled and factory-tested for rapid deployment and fast commissioning in remote and demanding locations.
Can the treated water be reused or reinjected?
Yes. On water-scarce sites, treated water can be recovered for reuse or prepared for reinjection, reducing dependence on scarce fresh water.
Can you handle different streams — produced water, flowback, refinery effluents?
Yes. Each stream differs, so we select and size the modular process chain to your specific effluent, flow and target.
