Without pre-treatment, these substances enter the sewer system. There, they cause deposits, increase maintenance costs and place a strain on municipal sewage treatment works. Many local authorities therefore require pre-treatment of the wastewater. Operators must demonstrate compliance with defined limit values and document their processes.

ClearFox® Dissolved Air Flotation reliably reduces pollution

Our ClearFox® pressure-relief flotation removes solids, fats, oils, hydrocarbons and organic pollutants from industrial wastewater. The process utilises ultra-fine air bubbles that transport contaminant particles to the surface. There, the system continuously separates the floating substances from the water.
In typical applications within the food industry, our DAF reduces the chemical oxygen demand (COD) by more than 70 per cent. At the same time, the system automatically regulates the pH to the desired range between 6.5 and 7.5.
The result is stable and traceable effluent quality.

That is why we integrate modern measurement technology from leading manufacturers such as Endress+Hauser directly into our plants. Sensors continuously record all key operating data. The control system processes this information in real time and reacts immediately to changes in the process.
