Description
The ClearFox® Packaged Systems provide a ready-to-use solution for wastewater treatment based on the high rate advanced fixed-bed reactor technology. We offer these as complete packaged systems or as customised solutions with our modular components to match each customer’s specific needs. The modular design approach enables our packaged plants to handle both industrial and municipal wastewater flows from as little as 7,5 m³/day up to 5000 m³/day. The systems can achieve any required effluent quality for discharge, reuse, or irrigation. We offer our Packaged Plants in two configurations:
Containerized C-units: compact systems with primary treatment, biological stage and secondary clarification all housed within a 20 or 40 ft. shipping container. These systems are pre-engineered and provide a reliable and low-maintenance solution, manufactured according to the “plug and play” principle. From inquiry to start-up in record time – our modular systems make it possible.
AP FBBR tanks: These packaged plants are delivered in compact HDPE tanks designed for underground or above-ground (with steel reinforcement) installation. Each system is fully preassambled and includes primary treatment (either from ClearFox or existing from client), biological stage and secondary clarification in multiple tanks for maximum flexibility. The robust and lightweight HDPE design ensures easy transport to the sites location.
How It Works
-
Example for the C30 (see above)
Primary Treatment
Incoming wastewater first enters the 13 m³ buffer tank. This is a high quality seamless rotationally molded plastic tank that fits perfectly into the container and will last for more than 25 years. The buffer tank acts as a temporary storage unit to maintain consistent flow rates for the system -
Biological Treatment
The water then flows into the biological reactor, which contains fixed-bed media providing a large surface area for microorganisms to attach and grow. An aeration system at the bottom supplies oxygen to the microorganisms, enabling efficient biological degradation of organic matter. -
Secondary Treatment
The treated water passes through the lamella clarifier. Inclined plates increase the settling surface area, which allows for highly efficient sedimentation in a compact footprint, allowing the solids to settle.
Advantages
- Installation Versatility
Our packaged treatment plants are designed for maximum flexibility in installation. Depending on site request and volume, they can be supplied in compact plastik tanks for underground installation or in robust containerised units for above ground installation. This adaptability ensures the system can be seamlessly integrated into both new builds and retrofit projects in virtually any location.
- Low operating costs
The efficient operation of ClearFox® systems does not require specialized personnel. No weekly adjustments, no complex measurement or control technology: The fixed bed reactor ensures biological stability autonomously. The system is designed for minimal maintenance effort.
Combined with low energy consumption, this results in low and predictable operating costs (OPEX) throughout the entire lifetime of the system.
- Robust Technology
One of the key advantages of the ClearFox® fixed bed technology lies in its exceptional process stability. Unlike conventional biological treatment systems, the bio-film in the submerged fixed bed reactor adapts automatically to varying loads. The ClearFox® FBR continues to operate reliably even with fluctuations in influent values.
- Made in Germany
Our systems are engineered and built in Germany under high quality standards with high quality materials. ClearFox is ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) certified. This means maximum operational safety, predictable maintenance schedules and the confidence that your investment will provide reliable performance for decades.
