Description

The ClearFox® Sludge Big Bag Dewatering System is a simple and cost-effective solution for sludge dewatering, ideal for smaller industrial and municipal treatment applications. They are designed to achieve up to 10–15% dry matter content, the system allows the filtrate water to be returned directly into the treatment process.

How It Works

Advantages

Operating primarily through gravity-driven filtration, the system requires only minimal energy for pumping. With no complex mechanical parts, maintenance costs are kept low and the investment is quickly recovered through reduced operational expenses.

The steel frame and dewatering bag can be fully assembled on-site in no time, without the need for civil works or complex infrastructure. Its compact footprint means it fits even in confined spaces, making it suitable for retrofits or remote locations.

Modular solution: The system’s design allows it to be easily configured for a wide range of sludge types, volumes, and operating conditions. Whether used in municipal or in industrial wastewater treatment applications, it can be tailored to the specific requirements of the site, ensuring optimal performance.

Manufactured in Germany with a durable steel frame and high-quality textile fabric, the system is built for long-term reliability. The robust construction withstands continuous operation in demanding environments, delivering consistent results over many years of service.

FAQs

1. What are ClearFox® Dewatering Bags?

ClearFox® Dewatering Bags are a simple and cost-effective solution for sludge dewatering. They are permeable filter bags made from durable geotextile material, which allow water to drain out while retaining solids inside the bag.

Sludge is pumped into the bag, where the filter fabric separates water from solids. The filtrate water passes through the fabric and can be safely returned to the treatment process, while the solids remain inside.

Depending on sludge type and conditioning, the bags can achieve a dry matter content of up to 10–15%.

ClearFox® Dewatering Bags are available in different sizes. By using multiple bags in rotation, continuous operation with sludge volumes up to several hundred cubic meters per day can be managed.
